    • In the terminal, type sudo nautilus
    • Navigate to /usr/lib/cups/backend/
    • Right-click cups-pdf and select “properties”
    • Go to the permissions tab and check “Set User ID”
    • Close nautilus, go to System>Administration>Printing
    • Add a new printer, it should detect the CUPS-PDF printer
    • Install CUPS-PDF using the Generic Postscript Color Printer (Rev 3b)
    • Give it a clear name like “CUPS-PDF” or “PDF Printer”
    • Print using CUPS-PDF instead of default printer
