- The first of four studies in our series “Being a Joyful Geekon”
- Being Joyful in Suffering
- Being in prison and suffering for Christ only furthered Paul's ministry, it lead others to preach the word of God.
- Paul was Joyful throughout his imprisonment, and it showed to those around him, believers and non-believers alike.
- When talking about his suffering, he didn't embellish, but spent his time talking about how it could benefit God.
- Paul put doing the will of God above his Freedom, his Comfort, and ultimately his Life.
- No matter what suffering we may go through, whether it is enduring teasing, or putting up with a bad job because our enthusiasim for our belief keeps us from a promotion, we should always praise God for the opportunities He gives us each day, to have a relationship with Him, to carry out His will, and even to suffer for Him.
